We performed a complete restoration of a Ferrari 308 GTBi engine for our customer.
Here is a short summary of the work during the engine revision on this engine.
After the engine has been disassembled, every part was checked down to the last bolt. The cylinder liners got re-honed. After the grinded and polished crankshaft was installed with new bearings, out of our Store, and the new pistons found their place in the engine block.
Now the cylinder heads along with the new camshafts, valves and so on, was ready for installation. The revised starter motor and alternator, together with the new water pump were also installed.
Now it was time to put the engine on its intended place, mounted on the gearbox. The ignition system was mounted, the camshaft timing was done and ready was this gem.
The engine that came to us worn, now its not only in perfect technical condition, it also is pretty. Isn´t It?!
