Holy Grail found (again)
Jon Gunderson of dinorestoration.com is known for uncompromising nut and bolt restorations on Dinos of the highest quality, and he restores rare 206 Dinos all the time. When 100% is called for, the correct shifter knob, gas cap and grab handle in the footwell cannot be missed.
The original parts are no longer available and we have consistently refused to rebuild the parts.
So, Jon is himself and so he completed the reproduction with the same consistency as he usually restores dinos.
We don't want to withhold the pictures of the "making of" from his blog:
We are a little proud that we can now offer the finished products for Jon.
Surely you immediately went into a buying frenzy at the sight of the parts and wanted to order them online, but in light of the prices, considered putting off the final decision for another day. We understand that, but want to explain that neither Jon or we have completely lost our minds.
Probably 152 specimens of the 206 GT were produced. How many of them are left we don't know. So it is questionable which number of these parts can be sold at all. If you then take into account that Jon has approached the subject without regard to personal time and expense and would like to have his expenses back at some point, you understand why the parts have different prices than similar vehicles, but which were produced in higher numbers.
