DinoParts celebrates 20 years!
Time for a throwback:
20 years ago, Jörg Temmesfeld bought a restored Ferrari Dino 246 GT from a prestigious retailer. However, Jörg was similarly dissatisfied with the reliability of the Dino and the spare parts service. While others retired, Jörg really got into the groove and took care of remanufacturing parts himself, so he laid the foundation for DinoParts.
As a result, a lot of investment was made and the product range was expanded at a high rate. Very early on, DinoParts had an online store with reasonable product images. That was not a matter of course at that time. As a reference: Ebay Germany is only three years older than DinoParts. We were pioneers, in a sense, and so DinoParts was able to grow strongly over the years.
In 2014, Stefan Kratzer took over DinoParts. He found it necesarry to first revise the work flow and structures and standardize them. It was also clear that the company could not remain in Jörg Temmesfeld's granny apartment and that the website should be relaunched.
In 2015, we found a property in the neighboring town that allowed a perfect division into office, warehouse and workshop. Who would have thought in 1970, when the hall was built for a ventilation technology company, that the floor plan would be perfect for a company like ours. So all we had to do was give the place a proper makeover and let the Dino-charm move in.
In 2016, the time finally came in May and we were able to move and continue to grow. A few glimpses shortly after the renovation:

In January 2020, we upgraded our IT. In addition to new hardware including servers, we have implemented a new merchandise management system, which allows us to map all processes highly efficiently and partially automatically. This is the prerequisite to realize our constant growth also in terms of capacity.
2023 we look back on 20 years of DinoParts. While we run with big steps towards the future and keep our tools and work equipment up to date in terms of efficiency, the connection to the time our cars come from remains. You can see this in the many, contemporary reproductions and not least in the matching furniture.
And now? What's next? The focus is on expanding our range. Ferrari F355, Testarossa, 512TR and 512M will be further expanded.
So we will continue to grow. If things continue as they are, we will have a lot to report on the 40th anniversary.
