What's going on at Dino Service?
Today we are informing about the ongoing projects at our workshop.
Fiat Dino Coupe from the Ahrtal:
We have been reporting about this project before.
The valley of tears has been walked and things beginn to come together again. As you will see on the pictures the bodywork is done very nice:
Here the repair of the rotten lower window frame:
The poor material has been cut out propperly:
New handmade repair part:
Butt welded and smoothend:
Same job in the area of the lower wings. These sections are prone to rust.
Also this repair has been executed to match the original bodywork as original as possible and all butt welded.
Welding is done now. The Body has been base coated and all overlaying material sealed.
In the meanwhile we took a look at the engine.
The block of this Dino has been machined to oversize and surfaced.
The heads have also been completly refurbished. New valve seats, seals, guides and valves.
