The seats of our flooded Dino Coupe project have completely been soaked with mud and water. But also, most Coupes we see have completely bridle seat cushions and used replacement you can find usually is even worse.
So, there was no proper solution for this matter and we decided to take care.
Cutting out the cushion from a foam block is no option for us. We were keen on a perfect copy regarding the shape and wanted the "closed skin" as original.
Usually cushions like that will be foamed semiautomatic into high tech molds. A method that can only be economic in high quantity productions. So, we had to come up with something new and developed a method with our supplier that allows us to make cushions in very small batches. We like the result:
